The CHOICE Lab at Michigan Medicine is seeking an outgoing, energetic, empathic, and driven research associate to join a large randomized clinical trail of an incentive-based menthol cigarette smoking cessation intervention. The goal of the study is to test ways to help people who smoke menthol cigarettes to help aid in cessation. The program is expected to deliver real-world data on comparing incentive-based interventions with, and in addition to, state-run Quitlines among people who smoke menthol cigarettes.
The successful candidate must be well read, organized, and able to multitask; be an independent thinker and team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role will include a lot of collaboration across team members, a willingness to jump in on a variety of projects, and help out where needed.
