Responsibilities*

 
  • Manage calendars and scheduling for the program, including biannual All Partner meetings, quarterly executive committee meetings, and quarterly BSF/EMS training
  • Manage State burn mass casualty supplies, including inventory of Mepilex and Silvadene stock at UM and BSFs
  • Develop and update state BMCI Contact Book
  • Create and distribute bi-monthly newsletter that highlights plan accomplishments and reinforces important take-aways
  • Complete quarterly reports for grant management that includes training numbers for BSF personnel, EMS, and dispatch team, outlines training material accomplishments/status, and lists outreach efforts
  • Support development and running of state-managed exercises (tabletop and functional) of the Burn Mass Casualty Plan
  • Serve as primary contact for SBCC

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • Knowledge of Burn care

Modes of Work

Background Screening

 

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
