The Intake and Supportive Measures Associate Specialist primary responsibility is to assist in handling the intake of reports that include discrimination or discriminatory harassment involving faculty, staff, students, and other members of the university community. Candidates for this position must have the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience needed to provide highly responsible and effective support in a fast paced/high volume work environment. This position works alongside the data management team, Sex and Gender-Based Misconduct (SGBM) team, Civil Rights and ADA teams. The successful candidate collaborates with campus partners, including Student Life, Staff/Faculty/Student Ombuds, Department of Public Safety and Security, Staff and Academic Human Resources, Michigan Medicine HR Solutions Center, Work Connections, Rackham, and Athletics.
