Job Summary

 

Student will be responsible for working with the CIT Systems Administrator Intermediate to support various aspects of CIT computing and classroom technology and preparedness for approximately 4-8 hours/week.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Assembling and maintaining sensitive electronic equipment
  • Organizing spaces 
  • Computer assembly and system maintenance 
  • Troubleshooting computer applications 
  • Support developing standard operating procedures 
  • Equipment and computer unboxing and assembly.

 

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Must be a UM-Flint student with documented experience with hand-tools and/or assembly through professional, academic, or personal experience. 
  • Familiarity with computer systems. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Team player 
  • Familiarity with CAD programs
  • Familiarity with hand tools.


 

Modes of Work

 

Onsite
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence.  Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan
