THIS IS A FULL TIME (40 hours/week) 1-YEAR TERM LIMITED APPOINTMENT WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION BASED ON FUTURE FUNDING
The University of Michigan School of Social Work is seeking a full-time Research Coordinator for a federally funded project, Empower@Home (empower-at-home.com). This is a term-limited position with a one-year appointment term, with the possibility of renewal for a second year contingent upon performance. The project focuses on the implementation and evaluation of Empower@Home, an online psychotherapy program designed to support older adults in community settings. Empower@Home was developed in collaboration with community agencies and older adult advisors to address the unique needs of adults aged 50 and older. It provides an accessible alternative to traditional therapy for individuals who face barriers such as cost, transportation, or limited technology experience. The research team is currently working with community partners to implement Empower@Home within their services and expand access to mental health resources. The Research Coordinator will work closely with the Principal Investigator, a senior full-time Project Coordinator, part-time research staff, and agency partners to support the day-to-day operations of the project. Responsibilities will include conducting screening and recruitment calls, collecting data through telephone-based surveys and qualitative interviews, coordinating study visits, conducting clinical assessments, conducting community-based recruitment events, and shipping study materials. Other duties may apply to meet the project needs.
