Job Summary

 

This is an 8-week internship intended to give young trainees exposure to research and career opportunities in nuclear medicine and radiology.

Responsibilities*

 

Participate in research around development of imaging agents for positron emission tomography (PET). This includes assisting with a variety of chemical, radiochemical, preclinical imaging, computational and biological experiments, conducting analysis and interpreting data, keeping a lab notebook, and attending departmental meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • High school education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computational skills
  • Prior experience with high school science

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • Prior experience as a volunteer and/or intern helpful
  • Demonstrated passion for STEM

Work Schedule

 

40 h per week, day shift.
