Job Summary

 

The University of Michigan Athletic Department invites applications for a full-time (40 hour per week) paid internship opportunity with the Compliance Services Office from July 2025 through June 2026. The internship will provide experience assisting in the day to day operations of a D1 compliance office and working with NCAA and conference rules. The successful candidate will report to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Duties include the monitoring of off-campus recruiting and telephone records. 
  • Reviewing complementary admissions lists. 
  • Monitoring student-athlete practice time. 
  • Assisting with student-athlete paperwork and the rules education program. 
  • Preparation and organization of required NCAA and Big Ten conference forms and reports, and compliance correspondence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Successful applicants must have a bachelors degree.

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • The ideal candidate will have a masters or law degree, and aspirations to work in an intercollegiate athletics compliance office.
  • Graduate or post-graduate students are encouraged to apply.
