The Inclusive History Project-Dearborn Program is looking for driven individuals to contribute to our research into the diverse histories of the university community.

We are seeking a candidate to join the IHP-Dearborn team as part of the project, "Institutional Memory and Intergenerational Solidarity: Oral Histories of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies." This project explores the history of creating Women's and Gender Studies, Women in Learning and Leadership, and LGBTQ Studies programs at UM-Dearborn. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of one or more of these programs of study; interest or experience in oral history and archival research; expertise or strong interest in acquiring expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Oral History Metadata Synchronizer (OHMS).

At the Research Assistant I level, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: editing audio interviews and interview transcripts, linking the interviews to relevant archival materials, and assisting with the launch of the public archive.

• Graduated or enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in any field
• At least one course in Women's and Gender Studies or LGBTQ Studies and/or knowledge of the Women in Learning and Leadership program at UM-Dearborn

• Past participation in research projects
• Knowledge of or experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Oral History Metadata Synchronizer (OHMS) is a plus
