Communicate vision of patient financial advocacy to supervisors, staff, and others who impact the patient financial experience. Develop department goals, initiatives, KPI's, management reports, and scorecards that align with the ideal patient financial experience.
Manage progress toward established goals, adjusting priorities and strategies as needed. Employ Lean methodology to standardize work, surface problems, find efficiencies, eliminate waste, and develop problem-solving skills of supervisors and staff. Evaluate and implement new technology. Report out to Pre-Service and Revenue Cycle leadership monthly.
Develop management skills of supervisor, business analyst, and training specialist direct reports by coaching and delegating while managing risk and ensuring accountability for delegated items.
Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships across the continuum of Revenue Cycle including clinics, payers, billing, coding, care management, and other Revenue Cycle departments.
Serve on Revenue Cycle projects and committees as needed.
