The Kaczorowski lab at the University of Michigan is recruiting a post-doctoral scholar to study system genetics analysis in Alzheimer's Disease, including collaboration with the multi-institutional leaders to evaluate agents; such as drugs, nutraceutical, and bioceuticals, that might slow aging and or Alzheimer?s disease in mice. The Kaczorowski lab utilizes cutting-edge neuroanatomical, neuroimaging, computational, and behavioral genetic approaches to understand the cellular and physiological pathways that modulate aging and multiple disease risks in mammals. The Kaczorowski Lab team values excellence, integrity, diversity, impact and kindness - and we are looking for postdoctoral trainees who are enthusiastic, creative and experienced in circuit level structure/function assays.
The Kaczorowski lab is in the Department of Neurology at the University of Michigan Medical School located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Michigan Neuroscience Institute (MNI) continues to be a leader in innovative, collaborative, and visionary research in the areas of brain science and brain impacting diseases. MNI?s cross-disciplinary research portfolio reflects the full range of basic and translational projects from molecular analyses to animal models to human applications.
