The Boyle Lab in the Gilbert S. Omenn Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics is seeking a Bioinformatician-Computational Biologist Intermediate continue our efforts for SMaHT and our nanopore-R01 where they will develop key methods and analysis tools for our commitment to this project. They will perform data analysis associated with Cas9 enrichment sequencing projects. They will also work to develop our high-throughput screening tool for short tandem repeats in human samples.
Responsibilities include collaborative design, validation, and use of novel analysis approaches to interpret bioinformatics/clinical and/or 'omics data and review/revise/recommend approaches to experimental design and analysis. Actively review literature and evaluate tools to identify and validate emerging methods and approaches. Establish/maintain/extend best practices for reproducible bioinformatics analysis and general-use data pipelines.
