The Spectrum Model of Conflict Resolution, originally developed and implemented at the University of Michigan, serves as the foundation for these efforts.
JOB SUMMARY
As Associate Director, you will provide advanced leadership and oversight, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive conflict resolution resources to the University community. Reporting to the Director of Student Resolution Resources, you will manage the development, implementation, and enhancement of conflict resolution programs, services, and pathways that meet the diverse needs of students, faculty, and staff. This includes facilitating conflict resolution education, supporting adaptable resolution methods, and advancing our mission to build community trust and empower community members in addressing and resolving conflicts constructively. You will also supervise three Assistant Directors overseeing OSCR's core portfolios:
- Adaptable Conflict Resolution
- Sexual and Gender-Based Adaptable Programs
- Informal Resolution for Alcohol and Other Drug Risk Reduction
This is a hybrid remote/in-office role, requiring regular on-site work in Ann Arbor along with flexibility for remote work within the state of Michigan. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required.
