The Program on Intergroup Relations (IGR) is a joint program between Student Life and the College of Literature, Science and the Arts focused on intergroup and social justice education. IGR works proactively to promote an understanding of intergroup relations inside and outside of the classroom. IGR offers multidisciplinary courses and co-curricular programs that utilize experiential learning and models of dialogue to help students learn about social inequalities, the significance of social identity, intergroup relations, and social justice.
Skills required: Candidates must have strong organizational skills. Interpersonal, and communication skills because this position interacts with all stakeholders: students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Successful candidates must also provide timely responses to inquiries.
