As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Michigan Medicine, you will provide medically based outpatient care for infants through young adults with a wide variety of diagnoses including neurological, feeding, developmental, orthopedic, and sensory processing. Our Pediatric OTs are a collaborative, dedicated group who work in coordination with a multidisciplinary team including: PT, SLP, TR, and PMR Physicians, among others, to provide highly specialized care to patients and their families. You will provide direct patient care, utilizing evidence based treatment, designed to restore and maximize performance, using indicated pediatric interventions, in coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.

• If licensed before 1/1/2007: Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy.
• If licensed on or after 1/1/2007: Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Satisfactory completion of an internship program.
• Current Michigan Occupational Therapist License
• Registered member of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• Minimum of 1-year of pediatric rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy) experience in a medical setting
• Experience with the following standardized measurement tools:
  • Peabody
  • GMFM
  • BOT-2
• Experience with any or all of the following across the pediatric continuum:
  • Splinting
  • Feeding
  • Casting
  • Sensory Integration
  • Neurologic and Genetic Diagnoses
  • Developmental Diagnoses 
  • Orthopedic Diagnoses

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Clinic hours of operation are Monday through Friday. Facility hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am-12:30pm. Saturdays would not be required for this position, but applicants must have availability to work within the hours of operation Monday through Friday.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
