Responsibilities
Provide culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models in delivering nursing care for the Upper Aerodigestive oncology patient population and the broader Blue Team.
Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.
This RN position is essential in managing clinic flow, patient care needs to include, but not limited to: triage/assessment of high acuity patients, therapy education, procedural education, medication administration and management, responding to clinic emergencies, port maintenance, collaboration with multiple disciplines / infusion / scheduling / lab management
Provide safe, effective, and specialized nursing care in an ambulatory care clinic setting.
Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/virtual/phone visits), in-clinic hands on procedures, and other duties assigned.
Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care.
Direct outpatient clinical support through In-Basket messages and telephone triage supporting a seamless delivery of care.
Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary services to provide high quality effective patient care.

Ability to manage complex clinical issues utilizing assessment skills, protocols, and evidence-based interventions.
Willingness to adapt to different populations adult medicine as patient demands.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability for example, completion of work, mandatories, goal setting within established timelines.
