The Department of Behavioral Sciences is seeking hiring an assistant to work with faculty on office tasks, special events, social media, and outreach. Primary work will include maintaining and creating posts on social media accounts, coordinating, and attending 2-3 events on campus per semester to represent anthropology and speak to students, assisting with the Anthropology Field School Scholarship program and the Association of Student Anthropologists, and basic office work that supports faculty research and teaching. This position is part time, at roughly 5 hours per week, but the schedule will vary depending on need. Most work can be done remotely, and with the exception of key on-campus events, the work schedule is flexible. Assistant must have some background in Anthropology. An Anthropology Major is strongly preferred.
