The Department of Psychiatry is looking for two part-time temporary Research Assistants to work on a study focused on a suicide prevention in adults. In this role, you'll assist with an NIH funded research project conducted at University Hospital. This could be an ideal position for an undergraduate student who is seeking research experience working with participants in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Your main responsibilities would include assisting with recruitment and enrollment of study participants and conducting study assessments and interviews. Other responsibilities may include conducting literature reviews, data processing tasks, and medical chart data abstraction. This position would require on-site work at the University Hospital's inpatient psychiatry unit (9C). It also requires a flexible schedule of approximately 25 hr/wk in the late afternoon/early evening hour and occasional weekends as enrollment dictates.
