Responsibilities*

 

Experiments to support ongoing research including surgical procedures and injections; tissue dissection and processing; Immunohistochemistry; Immunofluorescence; Confocal microscopy; and In situ hybridization. Develops and/or uses analysis pipelines for imaging data. Provide technical training to other lab members. 

Required Qualifications*

 

The applicant must have 1 year of previous experience in neuroscience or biological sciences.  Curiosity, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are essential. Critical thinking abilities are a must. The applicant will learn and train other lab personnel in techniques, thus the candidate should be detail-oriented, function well in a team, exhibit good interpersonal skills, and demonstrate respect for others. The candidate should be highly motivated and capable of functioning autonomously to complete goals. Furthermore, the position necessitates a candidate with organizational skills, ability to manage time, and demonstrated accountability and long-term commitment. Additional Information

 

This is a one-year term limited appointment, with the possibility of renewal or promotion based on performance.
