Responsibilities*

 

In this position, the staff (Coder) will assess and code de-identified transcripts between practitioner and client in a health coaching session for multiple validated, standardized assessment tools. They will keep careful records and documentation and attend occasional administrative meeting. Transcripts and documentations will be accessed online and work will be asynchronous. Work hours are flexible. Assigned coding acitivities are based on need and there is no guarantee for a set number of hours per week.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in motivational interviewing
  • Demonstrate proficiency in advanced health coaching strategies and skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using the Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment (MICA) system
  • Demonstrated inter-rater reliability with coding team
  • Well-versed in using IT technology such as Dropbox, spreadsheets, and forms
  • Masters degree in health-related field
  • Have access to a computer and reliable internet

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • Health coach certification from NBC-HWC
  • Familiarity with cognitive restructuring
  • Training in MICA from MICA co-developer
