Responsibilities*

 

The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks a Lecturer to teach ME 235 Thermodynamics I for Spring Term 2025: May 1, 20225- June 30, 2025.

Duties include assisting with preparing and delivering lectures, preparing and grading homeworks, projects, and exams (as appropriate).

Hours:  32 hours per week

NOTE:  This position is only for the spring term 2025.  This is an open position.

Required Qualifications*

 

A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and previous teaching experience at the university level are strongly preferred.

Union Affiliation

 

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
