This is a full-time position that involves being an integral member of an interdisciplinary team on the Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit in Mott Children's Hospital. This position serves children and adolescents who are struggling with a wide range of acute psychiatric issues. The functions of this role include psychosocial assessments, care coordination, discharge planning including safety planning, brief individual therapeutic interventions, and family therapy. Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, mental health interventions, and community resources is desired. Experience working in acute care settings is preferred.
