The Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons Quality Collaborative is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) and Blue Care Network (BCN) Collaborative Quality Initiative (CQI) dedicated to improving the care of adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery patients in Michigan. The Quality Collaborative is a consortium of hospitals that collaborate to promote and share optimal processes of care and implement quality improvement initiatives based on regional and national data as well as clinical research and evidence based cardiac and thoracic surgery practice and guidelines.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced individual who will serve as a Quality Improvement Coordinator for our Coordinating Center located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Quality Improvement Coordinator will have a primary appointment in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Michigan and will report directly to the Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Quality Collaborative (MSTCVS QC) Program Manager and be housed in the MSTCVS QC Coordinating Center.
