Support from donors ensures that the Bentley Historical Library can offer access to comprehensive and well-cared-for collections, collaborate in learning and teaching, and accelerate scholarship across campus and to the state of Michigan.
You will work both independently and collaboratively, directing the planning, organization, and implementation of comprehensive major gift fundraising strategies. You will also develop and solicit a portfolio of major gift prospects, develop and implement stewardship plans, and oversee our select Bentley events.
You will be responsible for personal solicitation of major, planned, and capital gifts. The primary focus will be on identifying prospects and soliciting gifts of $25,000 and more. You will also conceive and implement strategies for prospects, identify and pursue prospects for capital campaign gifts. You will have responsibility for the stewardship of all major gift donors. All donor-related events will also be the responsibility of the Major Gifts Officer. This is an individual contributor role and will have no direct reports.
