About KidSport Summer Camps:

KidSport Summer Camps are for kids ages 4-11. KidSport Inclusive and KidSport Adaptive campers will be time daily in the pool for instructional swim and water safety lessons. Click here to read more about our KidSport Summer Camp programs.
 

• Plan daily lesson including modifications for a variety of abilities from non-swimmers to swimmers, ages 4-11.  KidSport Swim resource book provided to help with planning.
• Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct students on proper techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve their strokes and overall swimming ability
• Teach water safety and enforce all facility polices, rules and regulations
• Prepare and put away equipment daily
• Must be available for 9 weeks (June 16-August 15), Monday thru Friday, from 8am-4pm, with a lunch break from 12-1pm. No camp Thursday, July 3rd or Friday, July 4th.
• Availability during orientation week, June 9-13
   

Previous swim instructor experience and/or competitive swim experience

• Experience instructing children with swim lessons for 2 or more years
• Experience planning aquatic lessons for children with varying abilities  in a group setting
   

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Pay: $15.50/hour

Job openings are posted for a minimum of seven calendar days. The review and selection process may begin as early as the eighth day after posting. This opening may be removed from posting boards and filled anytime after the minimum posting period has ended.
