The Ambulatory Central Sterile Reprocessing Dept. (CSPD) manager is responsible for the administrative and operational goals and objectives of Michigan Medicine?s Ambulatory CSPD?s. This position plans, organizes and directs the operations of several Ambulatory Central Sterile Processing Departments in accordance with Federal, State and Local standards and regulations, as well as Michigan Medicine guidelines, procedures and policies that govern decontamination, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation required for the Surgical Services department, procedural areas and clinics. The CSPD manager works in collaboration with Ambulatory Care and OR leaders, nursing/patient care leaders, support services, faculty, and staff to manage the re-processing and availability of instrumentation.
