UMHHC Safety Management Services is seeking an ergonomics specialist to develop, implement, promote, and maintain ergonomic injury prevention programs and projects. The work involves conducting ergonomic assessments for a variety of work areas, including nursing, laboratory, warehouse, housekeeping, and general office, generating reports, developing and delivering training, and presenting results to managers. 

NOTE: The successful candidate may be an entry to senior-level individual. Experience with clinical assessment of mobility needs of a wide variety of patient populations strongly preferred. • Develop, coordinate, and maintain employee ergonomics programs for UMHHC.

M-F daytime hours, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with some flexibility allowed after completing the probationary period. Additional work hours are required during evenings, nights and weekends to respond to institutional needs.
