Academic Advisor Intermediate: Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of advising or counseling experience in higher education OR a Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
(Underfill) Academic Advisor Associate: Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of advising or counseling experience in higher education.
Experience in academic advising or counseling, preferably within higher education or related to health professions.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively with a high degree of accuracy while working in an environment of fluctuating priorities and interruptions.
Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to recognize and investigate data anomalies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to work effectively with a diverse student body, as well as distinct faculty and staff.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
Ability to maintain detailed records and manage sensitive information confidentially. Familiar with FERPA.
