The job involves working with a highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative team involved in clinical/epidemiological research using big data, based in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan's Medical School and Michigan Medicine. The team has both a national and international reputation.
The team works from the Kidney Epidemiology and Cost Center (KECC), a multidisciplinary research center, housed in the School of Public health at the University of Michigan, and is affiliated with the Institute of Health Policy and Innovation (IHPI), School of Public Health and School of Medicine.
The main areas of focus are kidney disease surveillance and prevention at regional, national, and international levels, as well as implementation science, learning systems, pharmacoepidemiology and quality improvement. The team has a rapidly evolving portfolio in non-communicable disease prevention and global health.
