Job Summary

 

This position consists of interacting with study participants and doing participant locating and follow-up work for a longitudinal survey for The Michigan Contraceptive Access Research and Evaluation Study (M-CARES)

Responsibilities*

 

M-CARES is seeking 2 telephone Interviewers to join our team. This is a part-time, temporary, remote position with a semi-flexible work schedule. Candidates will:

  • Call, email and text study participants to complete a follow-up survey for M-CARES using a specific protocol and call script
  • Use search engines to locate respondents to find valid contact information
  • Accurately record verbal responses and date into the computer program
  • Report on their work to the project manager and survey specialist
  • Attend team meetings via Zoom

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Excellent people skills; be capable of establishing and maintaining positive engagement with study participants
  • Previous interviewing experience
  • Ability to keep project information confidential
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Strong Oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills; familiarity with MS Excel, Google Sheets, Gmail and Zoom
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Desired Qualifications*

 
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience working with sensitive information

Modes of Work
