The University of Michigan Library in Ann Arbor is one of the world's largest academic research libraries. Any time the libraries are open, the Library's Circulation and Access Services and Distributed Library department staff are available to help faculty, students, staff, and visitors find and use our collections, services, and resources.
As a member of the Circulation & Access Services team, you will provide information, answer questions, and connect patrons to the services the library has to offer. Like all members of the Library Access and Fulfillment team, you will uphold our commitment to making our spaces, services, and collections welcoming, accessible, and safe for a diverse community of employees and users. We are the first point of contact providing information services in each of our library buildings. You will report to the Evening Manager for the Hatcher Graduate Library and Shapiro Undergraduate Libraries. This work will take place on campus.
Because we are committed to diversity, we aspire to develop the individual and collective skills to recognize, celebrate, and deploy difference as a path to engagement, innovation, and the generation of new ideas and knowledge.
