  1. Development of measures of family care availability to care for older adults with ADRD (NIA 1RF1AG083037), which will involve extensive data and analytic work incorporating broad family contextual factors. The research utilizes comprehensive and unique data resources collected by the Health and Retirement Study and many contextual data sources, and engages an interdisciplinary team of researchers in economics, medicine, and public health. The candidate will help construct composite measure of family availability, carry out analyses and lead and assist with manuscripts using the measures of family availability related to outcomes of care utilization and transition with specific focus on implications for ADRD care and resilience. For information related to this project, please see the project abstract.
  2. The development of conceptual and analytic framework of family and community contextual factors in ADRD risks and resilience (NIA U24AG088894) which will involve scoping and systematic literature review of substantive aspects, data, and methods. The postdoc will help analyze and summarize results from scoping and systematic reviews of family and community contextual factors in ADRD and participating in manuscript writing. For information related to this project, please see the project abstract.
