Job Summary

 

The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate for a clinical assistant/clinical associate/clinical professor position. The primary responsibilities of this new pathologist will be within the Division of Anatomic Pathology.  This pathologist will support our breast pathology service. Their clinical service responsibilities will account for most of their professional time. The balance of their time will be spent in the pursuit of scholarly and teaching activities. Teaching activities will be primarily related to our pathology residents and fellows.

Required Qualifications*

 

Doctor of Medicine degree (or equivalent), American Board of Pathology board certified or board eligible in AP. The successful candidate will have completed a Breast Pathology Fellowship or the equivalent and have a track record of peer-reviewed publications relevant to breast pathology. Excellent diagnostic and communication skills, commitment to excellent patient care, and a passion for teaching are required. Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan.

Background Screening
