The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan is seeking a full-time clinical-track faculty member to work in Ambulatory Psychiatry to focus on the treatment of adults. The U-M Department of Psychiatry involves more than 150 faculty, robust research programs, busy general and subspecialized clinical programs, and clinical and research training opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this position will focus on provision of high-quality clinical care and education at a well-developed, highly multidisciplinary adult clinic. This includes general psychiatric care for adults with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, etc. based on skill and interest. The candidate will share in teaching responsibilities of medical learners including medical students, house officers, and clinical fellows.
In addition to direct patient care, our faculty have the opportunity to:
- Participate in or lead quality improvement and research efforts
- Provide mentorship, didactic teaching, and engage in patient care activities with learners in related disciplines including social work, psychology, and pharmacy.
