As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be part of the Department of Pharmacy Hematology Oncology team, as well as multidisciplinary teams within the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. University of Michigan Health is ranked nationally for the care provided to both adult and pediatric cancer patients, as well as many other specialties. The cancer center mission is the conquest of cancer through innovation and collaboration. Current hematology/oncology clinical pharmacists provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on the individual and population level. What skills would you master?
- You will assure safe and evidence-based, cost-effective use of medications, as well as contribute to formulary review and maintenance.
- You will assist in the development of staff educational and training programs within the Pharmacy Department
- As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will also be appointed as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy where you will participate in the didactic and experimental training of pharmacy students and residents
- You will work individually and/or collaboratively on scholarly/research activity
