The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and C. S. Mott Children's Hospital at Michigan Medicine are recruiting for a full-time clinical Pediatric Endocrinology faculty member at the Clinical Assistant rank contingent upon qualifications. In this position, the candidate will focus on providing exceptional clinical care to the pediatric and young adult patients with diabetes mellitus and endocrine disorders in the inpatient as well as outpatient clinical settings. Transgender care experience desired. Candidate will also have opportunity to engage in research opportunities as a part of their academic and scholarly activity and participate in the educational activities for the trainees as well as medical students.
The Pediatric Endocrinology program at Michigan Medicine is a tertiary and quaternary referral center for the state of Michigan and upper midwestern states. Our Pediatric Endocrinology program sees over 1,300 diabetic patients and 4,200 endocrine patients on an annual basis. The patient population translates into approximately 11,000 outpatient visits per pear. The Pediatric Endocrinology program at Michigan Medicine is nationally ranked as one of the top 20 programs by the US News and World Report. The C.S.
