Job Summary

 

The University of Michigan Biomedical Engineering Department, a joint department between the College of Engineering and the Medical School, is seeking to fill tenured and tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks. While applicants from all areas of biomedical engineering will be considered, the following topics are of special interest:

  • Artificial Intelligence and machine learning
  • Image-guided therapy
  • Molecular and functional imaging

Suitable candidates may enjoy partial appointments in relevant clinical or basic science departments within the Medical School. Required Qualifications*

 

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in engineering or a physical science-related discipline and demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship. M.D./Ph.D. candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Background Screening
