Responsibilities*

 

Description of Responsibilities for the Enrollment Data Assistant:

  • Enrollment Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop executive level presentations, reports, maps, graphs, and tables to support comprehensive messaging of the university's enrollment management landscape throughout each stage of the enrollment funnel. Perform data analysis generating comprehensive reports to provide insights into research findings. Present findings in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Develop New Enrollment Analysis: Support, in collaboration with Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE), analyze enrollment trends and support enrollment  forecasting efforts.
  • Monitor and Assess Strategic Initiatives: Support assessment of new strategic initiatives to measure progress and ensure they are meeting the intended enrollment goals and objectives
  • Completes special assignments and projects, often in coordination with IRE on requests made by the Vice Provost of Enrollment Management and other leaders within the Enrollment Management Division.
     

Skills You Have

 

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, characteristics and aptitudes: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency using data systems and data visualization/presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Powerpoint Canva), and/or the ability to quickly learn related software systems;
  • A proven background in developing reports and presentations that can effectively communicate data trends and analysis;
  • A self-starter with strong written and communication skills;
  • A significant level of maturity, self-sufficiency, and follow-through;
  • And the ability to prioritize and multi-task on a variety of projects and assignments.
     

Required Qualifications*

 

A successful candidate will have the ability to work in a highly collaborative team setting with enthusiasm and creativity. Preference will be given to applicants with a proven and diverse background in data systems and who can communicate the implications of complex data in a simple but effective way to a variety of audiences. While preference will be given to candidates pursuing a Master?s of Business Analytics or Data Science degree, we welcome any applicant who brings relevant experience to meeting the objectives.

Additional Information

 

Position is for the Fall 2024 semester (through December 2024), renewal of role will be assessed prior to the start of the Winter 2025 semester.
