Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and developmental needs, including but not limited to developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, genetic disorders, sensory processing differences, and fine motor, visual-motor, or self-care deficits. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, functional needs, and family priorities. Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to address fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, coordination, activities of daily living, handwriting, play skills, and participation in age-appropriate activities. Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and members of the multidisciplinary care team to support functional outcomes and continuity of care. Educate patients and families regarding home programs, therapeutic strategies, adaptive equipment, and techniques to support progress outside of therapy sessions. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and communicate with referring providers and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate. This is a temporary position of 20-40 hours per week depending on clinic needs.
