With guidance from faculty and research personnel, the Research Technician Associate will perform a variety of tasks under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator. The Research Technician Associate will administer and score standardized neuropsychological tests; complete participant check-in calls; transcribe recorded interview data; assist in the preparation of IRB applications, progress reports, and other summary materials; and perform literature searches. Additional responsibilities include supporting coordination and administration of protocol visits under the guidance of the Clinical Research Coordinator, tracking research-related supplies, detailed record-keeping, filing, preparing study mailings and newsletters, the sending and receiving of study equipment, and other duties as assigned. The Research Technician Associate will assist in the preparation of manuscripts for publication, conference presentations, and grant proposals. There will be opportunities to collaborate on papers, posters, and presentations for scientific meetings. The Research Technician Associate will work independently and collaboratively with other team members to fulfill the goals of the projects.
