We seek a full-time Desktop Support Technician to support technology for the Ross School of Business. This position will focus on supporting audiovisual technology while also providing first-tier desktop support to faculty and staff. The role is temporary, limited to 12 months, and work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
 

Classroom & AV Support

• Provide technical guidance set up and troubleshoot classroom technology, 

  perform routine equipment checks, and respond to support requests.

Event Support

• Set up and support event technology, provide technical recommendations, and collaborate with internal and external organizers.

Desktop Support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Maintain devices in coordination with technical teams.

• Experience providing desktop support in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with audiovisual technology and classroom/event technology setup.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.

The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan.

• Full-time, temporary (12-month duration)
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
