The Department of Recreational Services is seeking students for a Broadcasting and Streaming Assistant for the Esports program. Shifts may take place during days, evenings and/or weekends, based on programming times, primarily during the fall and winter semesters.

• Working with the Broadcast & Streaming Supervisor to handle the broadcasting and streaming aspects of the esports program. This includes but is not limited to: operating broadcasting software, managing streaming platforms, setting up cameras and microphones, and producing live broadcasts or recording gameplay for later use.
• Editing videos to upload to Youtube and other platforms on social media. Training will be provided on all software/programs used. 
• Managing Computer Images in the Esports Lab. Training will be provided in all areas. 
• Help in a variety of areas, dependent on program needs and areas of expertise of applicants.

• Enrolled student at UM-Flint
• Available to work evenings and weekends, (matches/streams occur at 7/8pm to at most 11pm)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong verbal or written communication skills
• Technology proficiencies 

• Familiarity with organized esports competitions and titles offered (League of Legends, CS:GO, Rocket League, Valorant, etc.)

Hybrid
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
