A Research Lab Specialist Senior position is available in the Edwards Lab at the University of Michigan in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology (CDB). We use a combination of developmental biology models including Xenopus (frog), mouse, and pluripotent stem cells, gene editing, and microscopy techniques to investigate the disease genetics and developmental biology of the trachea (windpipe) and esophagus (food pipe). For more information visit https://edwards-lab.org.
Our group values teamwork, community, and intellectual growth. We are seeking a senior staff scientist to independently design experiments related to the lab's ongoing research projects, direct data generation and analysis, bring new expertise and experience to the lab, and provide leadership to other lab members. The Lab Specialist Senior will work in consultation with the PI, Dr. Nicole Edwards, in a collaborative learning environment.
