The Human Resources Associate is a one-year opportunity to gain hands-on Human Resources experience while working in a dynamic and collaborative collegiate athletics environment. Reporting directly to the HR Generalist Associate, this position will provide administrative and project support across a variety of HR functions and initiatives. The role will offer exposure to multiple aspects of the employee lifecycle, HR processes, records management, employee communications, and department-wide programs.

Essential Functions

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Athletics Human Resources team.
• Maintain organized and accurate employee records, employment documentation, contracts, and other confidential HR materials.
• Assist with HR-related correspondence, communications, and follow-up with employees and department contacts.
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and other employment-related processes as needed.
• Assist with employment transactions and HR system processes, including select Personnel Action Requests (PARs) and other routine updates.
• Support department-wide HR programs, events, and initiatives, including communications, participation tracking, and event logistics.
• Assist with gathering, organizing, and tracking information to support HR projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
