The Clinical Information Analyst gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to identify opportunities to improve the quality and cost of care in the inpatient and ambulatory settings. This position works with the analytic and data management staff to mine and manipulate internal and external, clinical and administrative data from a variety of databases for the purpose of measuring processes and outcomes of care, medical and disease management, assessment of physician practice patterns and case management. Analysts utilize data extraction and reporting tools (e.g. SQL and Power BI) to analyze information, summarize findings, and make recommendations. This position will report to the Manager of the Analytics and Informatics Team.
