The Divisions of Hematology and Oncology and Genetic Medicine within the Department of Internal Medicine seek an experienced and strategic financial professional to serve as Financial Analyst Lead. Together, these divisions support a complex mission spanning patient care, translational and clinical research, clinical trials, and education.
Reporting to the Division Administrator, the Financial Analyst Lead serves as the principal financial advisor for a large and diverse portfolio that includes clinical operations, sponsored research, clinical trials, faculty and staff effort, philanthropic and discretionary funds, and other institutional resources. The position provides division-wide financial leadership and partners closely with research administration, departmental finance, faculty, and operational leaders to support sound financial stewardship and informed decision-making.
This role is responsible for guiding financial planning, portfolio management, compliance, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across the divisions' clinical, research, and educational missions. The successful candidate will be able to evaluate complex financial and operational information, identify risks and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for division and departmental leadership.
