About IMPACT:
Improving Pregnancy Care for Trans People: Collaborating to Understand and Improve Pregnancy Outcomes for Transgender and Nonbinary People and other adjacent projects aims to establish a multi-center consortium to study pregnancy outcomes among trans people, with the goal of measuring, describing, and eventually reducing the risk for adverse pregnancy outcomes in the trans population. Through several collaborative projects, and use of multiple methodologies, we aim to collect rich data to describe obstetric outcomes and identify drivers of patient experiences and outcomes. Our ultimate goal is to improve obstetric care for the highly marginalized trans population.
