Job Summary

 

The Faculty Support department serves as a strategic operational partner to faculty and academic leadership. The team delivers high-quality administrative support through strong technical expertise and a commitment to service excellence.

The Accessibility Testing Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for delivering exam accommodations at Ross. You will coordinate logistics, scheduling, and communication to ensure accommodations are implemented smoothly across Ross courses.

Working with faculty, the Ross Registrar's Office, and internal partners, you will manage the operational components of accommodations-related exam support, including scheduling, room coordination, and proctoring logistics. You will report to the Faculty Support Senior Supervisor.

This hybrid position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, with an expectation of three days per week on-site. The role may require occasional travel on campus. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain that authorization throughout employment.

Responsibilities*

 
  • Accommodations Testing Coordination (50%)
    • Coordinate the logistics of accommodated exams, including scheduling, room reservations, and resource allocation. 
    • Manage exam scheduling and logistics within the Ross Accommodations tool, ensuring accurate entry of exam details, timing, and location. 
    • Ensure stakeholders receive timely communication regarding exam logistics, including assigned locations and expectations. 
    • Work with faculty to gather exam details and ensure appropriate implementation of approved accommodations. 
    • Manage scheduling conflicts and adjust logistics to ensure smooth exam delivery.
    • Partner with internal units (e.g., Registrar's Office, Operations) to ensure appropriate space and support are secured. 
    • Ensure efficient use of space, time, and proctoring resources across exams.
    • Be a point of contact for faculty and staff regarding accommodations-related exam logistics. 
    • Provide clear and timely communication regarding scheduling, logistics, and expectations to stakeholders. 
    • Partner with UM Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to ensure Ross's approach to accommodations continues to be effective and compliant.
    • Partner with UM SSD to answer faculty questions concerning appropriate approaches to interacting with students needing accommodations. 
    • Maintain accurate records of accommodations-related exam activity, scheduling, and logistics. 
    • Maintain, regularly update and communicate appropriate accommodation procedures 
    • Serve as a primary user of the Ross Accommodations tool, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and utilization. 
    • Partner with Ross IT to troubleshoot system issues, test enhancements, and support ongoing improvements to the accommodations tool. 
    • Support and take an active role in continuous improvement of processes related to exam coordination, management tools and communication 
    • Assist in documentation and standardization of procedures 
  • Customer Support (30%) 
    • Be a point of contact for faculty and staff regarding accommodations-related exam logistics. 
    • Provide clear and timely communication regarding scheduling, logistics, and expectations to stakeholders. 
    • Partner with UM Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to ensure Ross's approach to accommodations continues to be effective and compliant.
    • Partner with UM SSD to answer faculty questions concerning appropriate approaches to interacting with students needing accommodations. 
  • Administrative Operations and Process Improvement (20%) 
    • Maintain accurate records of accommodations-related exam activity, scheduling, and logistics.
    • Maintain, regularly update and communicate appropriate accommodation procedures 
    • Serve as a primary user of the Ross Accommodations tool, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and utilization. 
    • Partner with Ross IT to troubleshoot system issues, test enhancements, and support ongoing improvements to the accommodations tool. 
    • Support and take an active role in continuous improvement of processes related to exam coordination, management tools and communication 
    • Assist in documentation and standardization of procedures.

Required Qualifications*

 
  • Associate's degree and 3 years of administrative or operational support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience coordinating logistics, scheduling, or complex workflows. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with demonstrated experience using Excel/Google Sheets.

Modes of Work

 

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

 

The salary offer range for this position is $50,900 - $59,700. Salary offers are determined based on several factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, along with internal equity considerations. It is not common for new hires to be placed at the top of the range.
