The UM-D Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) is offering a part-time, seasonal, paid position that involves leading groups of school children for educational programs. These nature and science-oriented programs take place outdoors in the campus Environmental Study Area.
Minimum availability: 3 weekdays per week, 5 hours per day, 9 AM to 2 PM.
Seasonal work with 10-15 hours average, 20 max during busy times (mid Sep-mid Nov, end Jan- early June). Potential for continued employment in the following academic term. Employment could lead to an internal internship or fellowship opportunity at the EIC.
Training is provided by experienced EIC naturalist staff and student program leaders.
