Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems supporting intelligent transportation and autonomous vehicle research. Architect, train, evaluate, and deploy advanced machine learning models, including multimodal perception and foundation model based systems, within distributed data, training, and inference pipelines. Perform hands-on research engineering at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and cyber-physical systems, including contributing to research publications and proposal development in support of engineering programs. Architect and implement production-grade software using modern programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Rust, or JavaScript. Integrate software systems with autonomous vehicle simulation environments and standards, including perception sensors, vehicle dynamics, geospatial reference systems, and V2X-related messaging, to support data collection, system validation, and experimental evaluation.
