About Us:
We are currently seeking a project manager with experience in undergraduate education initiatives and a basic knowledge of sponsored funds management. The position is term-limited for 22 months (Sept 1, 2026 - June 30, 2028) and hybrid with both on-site and remote work.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting projects related to the Sloan Equity and Inclusion in STEM Introductory Courses (SEISMIC) collaboration (https://www.seismicproject.org/). SEISMIC recently launched a Phase Two effort with the overall goal of promoting the greater adoption of equity-oriented assessment practices in large introductory STEM courses across a range of institutions and departments. A key effort of SEISMIC Phase Two is supporting project teams in piloting revised assessments in STEM courses across the collaboration and evaluating their efficacy. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating project teams and leadership, documenting and reporting on SEISMIC activity, developing materials for teams, leading event planning at U-M and supporting SEISMIC events at partner campuses, managing collaboration-wide communications, facilitating U-M participant engagement with SEISMIC activity, and managing daily operations for the collaboration.
